FOOTAGE has captured the horrifying moment a man is hit over the head with a 'paving slab' in a violent attack just yards away from school gates.
The Dean Court estate in Dukinfield was 'swarming with police' as emergency services rushed to the scene at around 7.45pm on Sunday, finding a man had been injured. He was taken to hospital with injuries that were initially thought to be serious.
It was established that the victim had been attacked before being found with injuries with what is understood to have been a paving slab. Police are now investigating the incident as attempted murder.
The M.E.N. has now decided to share the shocking clip of the incident - but has edited the voices and blurred the identities of those involved.
