The players who represented their country in the mid-June fixtures reported for training again after their extended holiday and the group seemed in high spirits as they did routine fitness tests and some light ball work on the grass.
Bruno Fernandes was one of the first players to arrive in the gym and he ribbed a fitness coach for his lack of a tan after his holiday.
The midfielder laughed as he compared his tan, but the truth is Fernandes didn't get much of a break.
The season was longer than usual due to the World Cup being held in Qatar, which meant the FA Cup final was played on June 3.
