Luckily for City, their most dangerous attacking force continues to set unbelievable standards. Erling Haaland has 13 goals in 12 appearances this season and is averaging a goal every 80 minutes. It's a figure even more remarkable when you consider he hasn't scored in five of those matches.
But after Haaland, the next nearest goalscorer is Mateo Kovacic on three. And without Kevin De Bruyne playing regularly and Phil Foden taking time to get back to fitness, there is also a vacuum of assisters.
If you suggested that Rico Lewis would be leading the assist charts at this stage of the season, few would have believed you. But Lewis has four assists to his name, level with a quietly productive start from Savinho. Lewis got four across the whole of last season and is covering the absences of both Kyle Walker at right-back and De Bruyne at number 10. Not an easy feat.
