A NUMBER of Greater Manchester wine bars have been named among the best in the UK.
The Times has published its list of the 45 best wine bars in Britain, describing the new brigade of wine hangouts as 'small, sexy and stylish.
The list is predominately focused on London but nods to the emerging wine scene here in the North too.
Out of all the Northern cities mentioned, which includes Leeds, Liverpool and Newcastle, Manchester has received the highest number of entries, with five in total. The list includes spots in Ancoats, Stockport and Levenshulme.
