BARS and restaurant owners across Greater Manchester have spoken of their fears they 'may not survive' this Christmas if rail strikes go ahead again.
It was announced yesterday that rail workers have agreed to keep striking for the next six months due to ongoing disagreements regarding pay and working conditions.
The Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) said nearly 90 per cent of around 20,000 members across 14 rail companies voted to continue industrial action with the RMT warning more strikes could take place unless the dispute is sorted out. It would mark 18 months of continuous rail strike action.
