A GUITAR owned by Noel Gallagher will be auctioned off to help the fight to save Salford Lads and Girls Club.
The autographed Cherry Hofner Verythin was used during his time with Oasis for studio recordings.
With an estimate of £4,000 to £8,000, bidding will end this Friday.
It is hoped 20 per cent of the total selling price will go to the club, which needs to raise £250,000 before the end of this month to stay open.
Meanwhile, an exhibition of Oasis memorabilia and a record fair to be staged at the club on November 23 and 24 is set to raise thousands of pounds. A similar exhibition in June was deemed a massive success by organisers.
On November 24 there will be a Q&A session with Oasis drummer and founding member, Tony McCarroll. It will start at 6pm and will be hosted by journalist John Robb.
Kyle Dale, director of Bittersweet Home, said: "We had an incredible time at Salford Lads Club back in June with Together We'll Fly selling out across the days there. Knowing we provided the club with their highest ever donation generating weekend was really special to hear.
