IT HAS been almost four months since the body of a woman was discovered at a water park – but police still don’t know who she is.
Police were called to reports of a body being found in the River Mersey at the Chorlton Water Park beauty spot at around 11.10am on March 21.
There was a huge emergency services response and the woman was recovered from the water.
But despite extensive investigative work including specialist examinations, DNA testing, and reviews of missing persons’ records, the identity of the woman remains a mystery, Greater Manchester Police have said.
