Ronaldo left United under a cloud in November 2022 after a public falling out with Ten Hag and while he has defended his "unbelievable" second spell at Old Trafford, he still believes the club are falling short of the standards required.
When he departed United via an interview with Piers Morgan Ronaldo criticised the club's infrastructure and said he had "no respect" for Ten Hag.
The Dutch manager dropped Ronaldo from the squad for one game after he refused to come on as a substitute against Chelsea.
In an appearance on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, Ronaldo said he still wanted success for United but that the club needed rebuilding, hinting that includes Ten Hag after telling him he was wrong to suggest the team can't challenge for the Premier League and the Champions Leage.
"To prove that I'm right or wrong, this is not my issue anymore. I say what I have to say and for me it's done," Ronaldo told Ferdinand's podcast.
