SUMMER may be over, but don't put the suncream away just yet - as temperatures could be about to soar, forecasters say.
Parts of the UK could see thermometers climbing to 29C, according to the Met Office - with Greater Manchester looking at highs of around 27C.
It is set to be a warm, dry and sunny week in our region.
Temperatures are expected to hit 27C today, 25C tomorrow and Wednesday, 26C on Thursday and 25C on Friday.
It' isn't until next Sunday that there is expected to be a threat of rain and thundery showers.
The summery conditions can be tracked to a jet stream, which has been delivering largely unsettled spells of weather to the UK.
