Ten Hag claims United will put their best foot forward during transfer window

Summer signing Rasmus Hojlund is United's top scorer with a modest 13 goals while Anthony Martial the only other out-and-out senior striker - has not played since the reverse fixture with Bournemouth at Old Trafford on December 9 as he underwent groin surgery in January.

United confirmed Martial would be sidelined for ten weeks but that was more than 11 weeks ago. The 28-year-old is out of contract in June and will be released after nine years with United.

"I don't know," Ten Hag said on the prospect of Martial playing again for United. "He's still with the medical [team]. He's out on the pitch but if he will be available I don't know."
