DETAILS of '96 individuals' said to 'potentially pose a risk to children' in Rochdale - including 37 still unidentified as they're known only by first names or nicknames such as 'The Dangerous Man' - can be revealed by the Manchester Evening News.
It follows the publication of a damning report into historic child sexual exploitation (CSE) in the town. The 96 people were chillingly described as being 'only a proportion' of those involved in CSE across the borough between 2004 and 2012.
The findings lifted the lid on the vast extent of exploitation across Rochdale and revealed the repeated failings of those in power that allowed men to abuse vulnerable youngsters for years.
