Lewis Simpson was involved in a collision with a lorry on Albion Way in Salford on Wednesday. Despite the best efforts of emergency services at the scene, at the roundabout with the M602 and A57 Regent Road, the 25-year-old could not be saved.
His family have now paid tribute to their son, who they said 'was so excited about what the future held.
"Our beloved son Lewis was a talented and ambitious man, who had so many plans and dreams for the future," they said in a statement issued through Greater Manchester
