Dindoshi Sessions Court in Mumbai has postponed the hearing of bail application of a dismissed Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable, Officer Chetan Singh who is accused of killing three passengers and an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of the RPF , court fixed the December 8 for next hearing.

The prosecution requested more time to respond to his bail application. Constable Chetan Singh is accused of shooting and killing three passengers and an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of the RPF on a Mumbai-Jaipur Express train on July 31, 2023. Constable Chetan Singh’s lawyers, Amit Mishra and Pankaj Ghildiyal, argued that he was mentally ill and suffered from delusions.
