Sectoral indices on the National Stock Exchange, including Nifty Bank, Nifty Auto, Nifty Financial Services, Nifty FMCG, Nifty Private Bank, and Nifty Realty, recorded losses, reflecting a more nuanced market performance.
Ajay Bagga, a banking and market expert, commented on the market dynamics, noting that the US markets had a soft close after seven consecutive days of gains, particularly with some selling pressure on Big Tech stocks.
