TAMING THE TIGER

Aiden Markram praised his squad for an impressive all-round effort as South Africa raced to a record win over Bangladesh in Chittagong yesterday, wrapping up a memorable 2-0 Test series victory.

Having won the opening match by seven wickets in Mirpur last week, the SA team raced to a crushing win in the second clash, defeating their hosts by an innings and 273 runs within three days.

It was South Africa's largest margin of victory yet in a Test match against any opposition, and their first Test series win in the subcontinent in 10 years.
