Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday slammed the Opposition, saying they have for feeding a “false narrative” to the nation on to secularism to divert the world’s attention from their “communal activities.”
Now, if you want to talk about secularism, it is my very serious allegation, that for over 75 years, through a very well-crafted conspiracy, a false narrative has been fed to the nation. It has been embedded in the nation from before our birth. Sardar Patel was targeted by this narrative, and maybe, today it may be my turn, tomorrow someone else... Why do they cry out ‘secularism’ over and over again? It’s because they want to divert the world’s attention from their communal activities,” the Prime Minister said while speaking exclusively to The Daily Guardian.
