The farmer leaders have announced to hold another such kisan mahapanchayat at Pipli grain market of Kurukshetra on September 22.
The kisan mahapanchayat was jointly organized by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (non-political) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha at the Uchana Kalan grain market of Jind and the event drew a large turnout of farmers and laborers. The farmer leaders also accused the Haryana government and district authorities of trying to prevent the farmers from attending the event by creating obstacles.
