Bhakti Shakti Chowk to Nashik Highway Missing Link Work Underway
The Free Press Journal - Bhopal|December 28, 2024
The development of the 550-meter-long road connecting Bhakti Shakti Chowk to the Nashik Highway through Triveni Nagar is making steady progress, with 50% of the work completed.
Staff Reporter

This crucial project aims to improve connectivity between the Pune-Nashik Highway, Old Mumbai-Pune Highway, and Nigdi Bhakti Shakti Junction, easing traffic congestion across the city.

However, pending land acquisition for a key open land section measuring 250 x 75 meters remains a challenge. The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is spearheading the project. The project, initially designed as a 75-meter-wide road, is currently being developed as a 37-meter-wide section. This includes two 12-meter-wide traffic lanes, a 9-meter-wide High-Capacity Mass Transit Route (HCMTR) in the center, and 2-meter-wide paved shoulders on both sides.
