Collector Calls Upon People to Utilize Solar Power Scheme, Avail Benefits

NTR District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha called on every family to take advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which was useful for providing a clean environment for future generations and achieving economic self-reliance, and to make the district No. 1 in the implementation of the scheme.

On Friday, the Collector, along with officials, visited the house of retired R&B engineer ARSP Prasad, who is benefiting from the PM Suryagarh scheme, in Guntupalli, Ibrahimpatnam mandal. They inspected the solar power system he had set up through the Suryagarh scheme. Before setting up this system, they examined the current electricity bills.
