Ahmedabad Crime Branch police have arrested an employee of the Gandhinagar health department in connection with the PMJAY scheme fraud involving the infamous Khyati hospital in Ahmedabad.
In the Ahmedabad Khyati Hospital scandal, a scam of wrongly performing operations under the PMJAY scheme was exposed and then a conspiracy was also exposed that Ayushman cards of many people were wrongly issued from Khyati Hospital. In this scam, Gandhinagar Health Department employees were on the radar of the Crime Branch. Finally, the Crime Branch has arrested Health Department employee Milap Patel from Gandhinagar late at night. Two Health Department employees are being questioned in this case. The arrested person was working on a contract in the Health Department. The big revelation is that a gang that was issuing Ayushman cards wrongly was caught ten days ago. Milap Patel is also involved with that gang, as revealed in the preliminary investigation.
