Speaking in the legislative assembly, Fadnavis also emphasised that he and his deputies Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde would work 24/7 in shifts.
Fadnavis said Ajit Pawar will work in the morning shift as he is an "early riser". The Maharashtra chief minister will work from 12 noon to midnight. Referring to Shinde, who is known to work till late hours, the BJP leader said, "throughout the night... you all know who will work."
He was replying to a debate in the legislative assembly on the motion of thanks to the Governor for his joint address to both Houses of the state legislature during the ongoing Winter Session in Nagpur.
