The Azad Maidan Police have registered an FIR against Tiwana and 30-40 BJP workers following a complaint by Mandar Pawar, executive president of Congress Bhavan. The charges include violations under Sections 74, 118(1), 189(1)(c), (2), (3), 190, 191(2), 192, 324(3), and 333 of the BNS Act, as well as Section 135 of the Bombay Police Act. Further investigation is underway.
The BJYM protest came after Congress leaders accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of insulting Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar during his speech in Rajya Sabha.
