The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Smart City Development Corporation (CSSCDC) has been running the Smart City Bus service for the past five years. The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) has made a fixed deposit of 100 crore in the bank for running the service smoothly. The interest received from the bank on the fixed deposit is utilised on the bus service. Now, the tenure of the fixed deposit has expired in June and the corporation wants to utilise the funds for the development works in the city.
