The 1989-batch IAS officer Anurag Jain will be the new Chief Secretary (CS) of Madhya Pradesh.
Jain is reaching the state capital Tuesday to take over as CS. Veera Rana retired on Monday after completing her ten-month tenure as CS.
Many names were doing the rounds for the post of CS, but finally, Jain hit the jackpot.
As Delhi did not suggest the name of any officer for the post, it was almost certain that Rajesh Rajora would be appointed head of the state bureaucracy.
