A new twist has been added to the the events over Sandeshkhali incident with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) preparing to move Calcutta High Court over the purported video which the saffron camp is saying is 'doctored'.
Talking to the media, Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari said that he will ask BJP mandal president of Sandeshkhali Koyal to move Calcutta High Court to seek CBI inquiry over the issue.
Gangadhar The Trinamool Congress (TMC) accused the BJP of orchestrating the Sandeshkhali case after a video showed a man, allegedly linked to the BJP, claiming that women were tutored to make allegations of sexual harassment.
Notably, Koyal was only seen in the sting video,where he was purportedly heard saying that Adhikari was behind the Sandeshkhali incident and the arrests of TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh and his associates.
However, the authenticity of the video was not verified by FPJ.
