The city is all set to bid a grand adieu to its beloved Bappa on Anant Chaturdashi, which falls today (September 17) and marks the culmination of zealous 10-day Ganeshotsav. As the curtain comes down on the significant annual festival, thousands will flock to streets and beaches to be a part of spectacular immersion processions, including visarjans of idols installed at famous Ganpati pandals.
Amid the rhythmic beating of drums and the jubilant chants of 'Ganpati Bappa Morya', the city will come alive with visarjan yatras teeming with devotees, who will go all the way to Juhu and Girgaon beaches to say a final teary goodbye to Bappa.
