Racing against time, the missing squad of Ghatkopar's Pant Nagar police station succeeded in tracing a 16-year-old girl, who had set out to end her life, and reuniting her with her family. The mission added yet another feather in the cap of the missing squad, which rescued more than 30 minor girls and boys last year.
Talking about the latest case, the police said that the teen's parents approached them on April 7, saying that their daughter didn't return home after leaving for her classes a day ago. The girl, who has just cleared her class 11, is going to private tuition for cracking chartered accountant entrance examination.
