Rainwater harvesting in new Parliament building

The new Parliament building an expansive version of the old one, is proving to be most accommodative to the extent that it appeared to House a rainwater harvesting site, going by the images being shared on social media since Wednesday.

The question floating around is: Why's the new Parliament building such a drip? Opposition parties questioned the quality of construction of the new structure, sharing pictures of the fluid situation therein, replete with a blue bucket to harvest the heaven-sent bounty.

Congress MP Manickam Tagore moved an adjournment motion notice on the issue in Lok Sabha and demanded the constitution of a special committee to look into the matter.

In his post on 'X', Tagore shared a video of water dripping from the roof of the building being collected in a bucket. Pouring on a bucketful of sarcasm, he wrote: "Paperleakage outside, water leakage inside." By osmosis, it would appear, the post seeped into most timelines and there was a flood of memes.
