As the city gears up for an intense electoral fight, the candidates participated in 'The Mumbai Debate-Election 2024', jointly organised on Wednesday by The Free Press Journal, Mumbai Press Club, Praja Foundation and the Indian Merchants' Chamber.
The six constituencies of Mumbai - South, South Central, North Central, North-West, North-East and North - go to polls on May 20, and the city saw a unique debate at the Walchand Hirachand Hall of the IMC at Churchgate.
The candidates came on one stage to talk about their work, aspirations and people's demands. The debate witnessed a unique gathering where journalists, young people and senior citizens asked questions, raised their concerns as well as provided suggestions.
