A PLYMOUTH creative arts workshop which is holding a fundraiser to fix a leaking roof is holding an ‘open studios’ event where people can buy handmade ceramics, glass, metal work, jewellery and much more.
Flameworks, Plymouth’s longest-running creative arts workshops and studios, is opening its doors for the event next Saturday and Sunday, December 9-10, with mulled wine and mince pies on offer, and unique handmade items for sale.
Its Christmas shop will be open as part of an evening of mulled wine and mince pies from 4pm to 8pm on Saturday, and on Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
There will be an opportunity to buy work directly from its artists and associate members, with 10% of sales going straight into the crowdfunding campaign to ‘rainproof the roof’, which aims to raise £15,000.
