Cook (30.67) nailed legs in 16 and 14 darts when blowing away his opponent during a 3-0 individual triumph that was one of four of its kind.

John Mann (30.67) romped home to a 3-0 win during an 8-3 win for title holders - and now overwhelming favourites for the championship - Fawn B at the Victory.

Mann’s individual win came with the help of the only two maximums in the match, whilst his 106 in the same stage helped ticked his ton tally over to the 12 mark.

The biggest contributor of tons in the match was Fred Goldsmith, who added 17 scores of a ton or more.

Team-mates Andy Bates and Simon Washington both finished the dominant win with 12 tons, whilst Luke Johnson’s night ended on an 11-ton tally.

A 115 checkout by Washington was the second best of three ton-plus finishes in the match as Paul Goundry checked an 18-dart leg in a 3-1 defeat to Bates with a 126 combination.

Washington added an 18-darter of his own to defeat Scott Lawrey 3-2; the latter finishing his night as the defeated team’s top scorer with 11 tons.

Another match-up that went the distance was dominated by legs in 16 and 14 darts by Goldsmith, who got over the line 3-2 against Kelvin Rowe.

Over the 601 doubles distance, Mann teamed well with Lee Agar to net an 18-dart leg during one of three pairs games that ended 2-0.

St Levans fell to a 6-5 loss at the hands of a talented Tradesmans, but not before Tex Pearce (27.33) could provide a gem of a performance for the defeated team.

Pearce was a 3-0 winner thanks to legs in 17 and 18 darts as well as a 116 checkout that contributed to a 12-ton personal tally.
