A PLYMOUTH boy has dreams to follow in Tom Daley, Sharron Davies, Tonia Couch and Jacob Dawson's footsteps and become the next Olympic athlete to hail from the city.
While Jonah Hanrahan moved out of Plymouth with his Janner parents as a toddler to live in Pau, France, he has "green blood flowing through his veins" and spends time with his grandparents and aunties, uncles and cousins in the city.
Despite the 16-year-old living in France, he has been making back-and-forth trips to the UK to ensure he could secure a place on Team GB for kayaking - and he not only secured a place, but came first in his category, giving him the title of U18 British champion 2023.
