Kids get message from mascot

A DINOSAUR mascot designed to teach children about keeping safe from sexual abuse in a simple and age-appropriate way has been visiting schoolchildren and libraries in Plymouth.

Pantosaurus is a character designed by the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) in order to deliver the ‘PANTS’ message to children in order to keep them safe.

The yellow dinosaur, who always wears brightly coloured pants, was in Plymouth all last week to visit children and help to deliver the message as part of PANTS week.

At Crownhill Library, children from nearby Widey Court Primary School went along to hear the story of Pantosaurus and the Power of PANTS and had a surprise visit from the yellow dinosaur.
