Plymouth-based indie, rock and pop covers band The Sound have been chosen as this year's act to accompany the fireworks, performing in the covered area on the sun terrace at Tinside Lido. The Sound have built a fantastic reputation playing gigs all over the country, covering tracks by a host of different contemporary artists including Ed Sheeran, Adele, Oasis, Kings of Leon, The Killers, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and The Arctic Monkeys.
The venue itself offers unprecedented views of the fireworks competition and with the band warming up proceedings just before the fireworks kick off the whole evening looks like being an amazing experience once again.
'Live at the Lido' takes place on Wednesday 15 August.
