So much so that the petition by Rob Pritchard entitled ‘Network Rail must improve Tamworth Footpath Number 4’ reads: “I have been working on a project for a few years to get the footpath that connects the Anker Valley estate to the town centre hard surfaced. This is known as Tamworth Footpath Number 4.
“This project took a couple of years to deliver, but I am thrilled the hard work has paid off. I secured funding from Staffordshire County Council, the estate developer and Tamworth Borough Council.
