NEW occupiers are lining up to move into the empty Prezzo and Club House restaurants in the Royal William Yard.
The chains have pulled out of the former naval victualling yard but developer Urban Splash said there is already interest from potential new tenants and they hope to announce new arrivals soon.
Foodies were upset when The Club House announced it will close its Brewhouse eatery on Sunday, July 2, after just two years. It came just weeks after Prezzo’s Mills Bakery outlet was among 46 the chain was shutting nationwide.
The Herald has asked The New World Trading Company, which owns The Club House brand, why it pulled the plug on its city restaurant, but has yet to receive a response. Urban Splash has, however, revealed that the company decided not to renew its lease.
