A PLYMOUTH man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for sexually assaulting a woman.
Steven John William Jarrold, 39, whose address was given as Ernesettle, in Plymouth, was sentenced at Plymouth Crown Court on Tuesday, after pleading guilty to sexual assault without penetration. He must also sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for 10 years.
The court heard how Jarrold and the victim had been drinking at the same pub, with the victim describing herself as extremely drunk.
Later that night, Jarrold sexually assaulted the victim. Jarrold apologised and left the scene.
