Special readings at evening with three poets

A MAN who has been described as one of the leading poets of his generation will give a special reading from his latest collection in Plymouth next week.

Kelvin Corcoran, originally from the East Midlands and who now lives in Brussels, is a familiar figure in Plymouth’s literary scene.

He has read at the Plymouth Language Club four times, most recently in 2022, and been described by the club’s founders as “among the UK’s most accomplished and interesting contemporary poets”.

Next Tuesday, Kelvin will read at The House at the University of Plymouth, with two city poets, all three having had collections published in the past year.

Billed as ‘An Evening with Three Poets’, sharing the spotlight with Kelvin will be Mélisande Fitzsimons and Kenny Knight.
