Retired French teacher Dave (Paddy) Padfield is organising the events alongside his French counterpart Pierre Aubin to mark the 5oth anniversary of the first exchange.
Dave explained: “I was a teacher of French in Plymouth for 35 years and am in the process of organising reunions on both sides of the Channel for those ex-pupils who participated in school exchanges with me and my French colleagues during the 1970s and 80s.”
Dave is looking for former pupils who were at Tamar High School between 1978 and 1990 who remember his annual exchange trips in conjunction with the secondary school in Cancale, Brittany.
