Team news as Wayne Rooney assesses QPR clash

Tijani has not been in the Pilgrims' squad for the last two games, against Cheltenham Town in the Carabao Cup and Hull City in the league, and although he did train on Tuesday, in an open session at Home Park watched by a crowd of 5,000, the 24-year-old did not complete it.

Rooney said: "He trained on Tuesday and pulled out towards the end of the session. He has got a little knock. He will be touch and go for the game on Saturday." The loan signing from Czech club Slavia Prague started Argyle's season-opening 4-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday, with Ryan Hardie leading the attack in the two subsequent games.

Argyle will again be without Iceland international defender Victor Palsson due to a hamstring issue for the visit to QPR, who, like them, have picked up one point from their first two Championship matches.
