THE chances of a return to Plymouth Argyle for Finn Azaz appear to have increased after the 22-year-old midfielder was not included in a large Aston Villa squad for their pre-season trip to the United States.
Azaz had a successful loan stint with the Pilgrims from Villa last term as they clinched the League One title and secured a return to the Championship after a 13-year absence.
Argyle manager Steven Schumacher told Herald sport last week: "If we could bring him back I would like to bring him back because he is a good player, if he wants to come back. We will have to see."
