NEW recruit Lewis Warrington will complement Plymouth Argyle’s style of play perfectly, according to manager Steven Schumacher.
The 20-year midfielder has become the Pilgrims’ seventh summer signing on a season-long loan from Premier League club Everton.
Warrington has been part of Everton’s pre-season preparations, including playing 45 minutes in a 0-0 draw against Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night.
The midfielder had a successful loan to Fleetwood Town in League One last term, making a total of 39 starts and five substitute appearances.
Warrington has played one first-team match for Everton, coming off the bench in a 1-0 Carabao Cup second-round win at Fleetwood in August 2022.
