PLYMOUTH Gladiators promoter, Mark Phillips, says that whilst positive steps have been made to secure the club’s future participation in the Championship for 2024, there is still a fair way to go before he can travel to the Sports AGM with the certainty that he needs to ride next summer.
The club’s new commercial manager, Paul Swarbrick, has made substantial strides in securing financial commitments for 2024, primarily from supporters, supporter’s groups and some new initiatives and Phillips is immensely grateful for the support pledged to date from the club’s hardcore support base to secure the future of speedway in the Ocean City.
However, the club are now keener than ever to reach out to local and national businesses of all sizes to explain the national and global reach that the sport has, the extensive televised and specialist streaming service reach and the opportunity to offer a mutually beneficial advertising and corporate visibility packages at extremely affordable and competitive rates.
