Weather can't rain on show's parade
The Herald|July 28, 2023
THOUSANDS of visitors flocked to the Yealmpton Show this week to enjoy animals, entertainment, food and shopping at the 134th renewal of the ever-popular agricultural event, held on Wednesday in the grounds of the Kitley Estate near Plymouth
Weather can't rain on show's parade

The one-day show, which attracted its biggest ever crowd in 2022 following a two-year pandemic hiatus, is loved by locals and tourists alike for its variety of attractions and welcoming atmosphere.

In the main ring there were gun dog and vintage tractor displays, as well as a parade of hounds and adrenaline-filled motorcycle aerobatics from the Squibb Freestyle Stunt Team.

Elsewhere on-site a diverse selection of trade stands offered everything from agricultural machinery to garden furniture and fudge, with more to see and do in the countryside, homecraft, horticultural and rural skills marquees.
