STEVEN Schumacher has repeated his belief that Plymouth Argyle are not getting the rub of the green when it comes to big calls by match officials.
The latest instance came in the 1-0 Championship defeat away to Coventry City on Tuesday night, when Haji Wright's 75th minute winning goal was hotly disputed.
The Pilgrims' players were convinced the ball went out of play before Milan van Ewijk cut the ball back for the American striker to score. TV footage from Sky Sports (pictured) seemed to suggest Argyle had a strong case for their appeals, but referee Andy Davies and the linesman on that side of the pitch were unmoved.
While it meant more frustration for Schumacher after recent refereeing decisions against his side, he also acknowledged they had not clicked as an attacking force either.
Asked about the controversy over the goal, Schumacher said: "I'm disappointed. I feel as though we are saying that too often. We are coming into these Press conferences after games and that's what we are talking about, and we shouldn't be.
"We should be talking about two teams who have given 100 per cent effort to try to win a game and we are not, once again, because of a poor call.
