THE Barbican has been promised a spectacular light display this Christmas as waterfront bosses look to light additional areas - and have the illuminations up for longer. The Barbican and Sutton Harbour display is due to be lit up on Saturday, November 18, at 5.30pm.
With the date marked in the calendar, Plymouth Waterfront Partnership (PWP) is now looking at how it can extend the geographical area covered by illuminations.
And it is also considering whether to have the lights up for longer - possibly six months of the year.
