UDAIPUR's iconic Eklingji temple has introduced a new dress code, prohibiting visitors from wearing short clothing such as mini-skirts, bermudas, and night suits.

Amid royal dispute, Udaipur's temple introduces dress code for women

In addition to the dress code, which came into effect on Friday, the temple has banned mobile phones within its premises. Visitors are now required to deposit their phones at designated counters before entering.

The temple management stated that these measures were introduced to address complaints from devotees, who sought a more respectful and serene atmosphere for worship.
