Sadashiva Swamiji of Haveri Hukkeri Mutt inaugurated the office on Friday.
Later, speaking to media, Bommai said the office has been opened to address the grievances of the people, to provide suitable solutions and to hold meetings. He will dedicate Thursdays to Haveri district and Fridays to Gadag district and will be available from 11 am to 5 pm. This office will remain open and accessible to all.
Responding to a query, Bommai slammed the state's health department and said that the department is in the ICU and needs urgent medical intervention. Essential medicines are not being supplied on time and monthly indents are raised. "Why aren't critical medicines stocked? The state government's financial mismanagement is becoming evident. The government hospital charges have increased", he lashed out.
