AFTER A hit-and-run car accident in Ranni turned into a murder associated with a gang war, the police on Monday arrested three persons for allegedly running their car over a 24-year-old man.
The incident took place in Mandamaruthi on the Punalur-Muvattupuzha state highway around 8 pm on Sunday.
The police nabbed the suspects, identified as Aravind, 30, his relative Harishree Vijayan, Axam Ali, 25, and Ajo M Varghese, 30, all natives of Chethakkal, from a hideout in Kochi. They are accused in several cases in Pathanamthitta district.
Ajo, who was abroad, came to his hometown only four days ago.
