FARMERS in Ariyalur and Perambalur demand the state government to provide compensation for crops damaged by Cyclone Fengal in the districts. They also want insurance firms to process their crop damage claims and make the payouts at the earliest. The demands were placed during the monthly grievance redressal meetings held at the respective collectorate on Friday.
